Our much-loved Patented Aran Sweater in our beautifully soft Cashmere and Merino blended yarn for the first time. On the Island, Aran patterns were passed down within families with pride. Inis Meáin’s signature Patented Aran pattern has the distinction of being held in the collection of the National Museum of Ireland. Unique to Inis Meáin, the intricate composition of this fine cable knit pattern creates a tailored, classic look reminiscent of the strong twists of the Island fishing ropes. Crafted with super-premium Cashmere and Merino yarn from Italian heritage producer, Filati Biagioli Modesto, made to the highest European environmental standards using only organic dyes. Available in Tan Mix, a warm camel tone with cream highlights, Blue Mix, an ocean blue blended with muted grey shades and Red Mix, a crimson red mixed with khaki and subtle orange flecks. Designed, made and hand-finished in our Aran Islands workshop.
