Incredibly eye-catching, Dianthus chinensis 'Velvet 'n Lace' (Chinese Pink) is a compact Chinese Pink with quite unique, fully double, velvety maroon-purple flowers with lacy white petal edges. Resembling carnations, they are sweetly fragrant and bloom from early summer to frost. Attractive to hummingbirds, the blossoms sit on upright stems clothed with narrow, lance-shaped, blue-green leaves.
