We're pleased to offer a beautiful porcelain pedestal bowl, designed by Arnold Krog for Royal Copenhagen in the 1950's. This delicate white ceramic compote features hand painted blue flowers - one main asymmetric bouquet in the center and four smaller flowers under the textured 'braided' border at the bowl's edge. This pattern is called "Blå Blomst Svejfet" or Blue Flowers Braided (lit. Curved). It is marked "ROYAL COPENHAGEN DENMARK", decoration #10/8062, the signature blue waves and artist's initials "HX" underneath the base. The compote bowl is 8.25" in diameter at the top rim, 4.5" at base and 2.75" tall. It is in excellent vintage condition without any chipping, scratches or stains. There is a brown pin prick on the top that is from manufacturing of the porcelain. The plate seems very gently/barely used with faint top wear.
