What It Is, What It Isn’t and Why It matters. October 13th is “National No Bra Day”. This campaign started with the motive to encourage ladies to ditch their bras during this day to promote breast cancer awareness, because it’s the second leading cause of death among women in the United States. This campaign has good intentions but sadly, some people don’t.. that’s why I decided to write some points to clear things out. "National No Bra Day" is : A day to remember that breast cancer is a serious disease that kills. A day to spread awareness about breast cancer and early detection. A yearly reminder to get a mammogram or to remind people to dedicate time for self-exams. A day to remember to educate our selves about breast cancer, a day to donate time and money to support
