Japanese Buddhist prayer beads, exceptionally long, 1000 5/8" diameter beads strung as one long necklace with two (2) large wood beads and tassel at the end. Mala beads used by monks in group prayers. Wonderful patina, excellent condition, 19th century, measuring 144" long.
