Is It Just Me, Or Is The Word Brassiere Completely Creepy!?

If we're talking pure ick factor as it relates to words describing women's underthings, "panties" pretty much has the market cornered. You'd be hard pressed to find a Generation X-or-Y woman who doesn't think the word conjures up all kinds of images of dirty old men and things best left unmentioned on these pages. But as far as I'm concerned, I'll take "panties" any day over "brassiere."
