King Midas is a character of Greek myth, and known for his eponymous "Midas Touch". He was mentioned by Queen Lillian in a flashback during the start of the film. According to her, Rumpelstiltskin is highly recommended by him. "Big" Jack Horner possesses a giant golden hand that contains the power once obtained by King Midas.
