The prosthetics here in my shop were (and are) my solution. These are not meant to be compared to prosthetics that are professionally produced. They come from a home sewing room, cut, sewn, and stuffed by hand. There may be small irregularities in the finished forms, but if you're looking for a soft comfortable way to fill that bra and make you feel good, these will do it. They are great for the healing period after mastectomy, during the reconstruction process, or while you wait for your "real forms" to arrive. OR they can be a comfortable long-term solution to mastectomy. I have personally never used anything else. This breast form is not waterproof, but it works for swimming because it is made from 100% polyester fabric, in addition to the poly filling, so it dries very quickly after being pressed between towels. It keeps its shape in the water. It will need to be securely tucked into a swimsuit bra. Breast Form for swimming Quick-dry polyester cover and polyester filling. Gently squeeze out water after swimming, press again between layers of a folded towel. Dries easily overnight, faster if placed where there is air movement. Light and soft. Hand washable* *Hand wash with mild detergent in cold water. Rinse thoroughly. Place between layers of a folded towel and press gently to squeeze out excess water. Air dry.
