Don't get your panties in a twist, put a "Twist" in your panties!! These reusable panty liners are hand-made in Portland Maine from 100% organic cotton fabric. Use them as backup to a tampon or menstrual cup or on light period days. They are great for daily freshness and also work really well for light bladder leaks. Each set comes with TWO liners. The cotton fabrics (the gray liner is 2 layers of 100% organic cotton fleece and the wings are 2 layers of 100% organic cotton knit) are so soft that you won't even notice you're wearing a liner! The pad's wings snap snugly beneath the crotch of your panties and stays in place nicely. Once you're done for the day, you can pretreat the liner if there is any staining, or simply throw it in the wash with the rest of your laundry. I developed the Twist in 2019 when I found myself needing to wear liners almost daily. I'm perimenopausal, which makes my period irregular with frequent spotting, all rather unpredictable. I also tend to leak a bit when I exert myself while exercising and find a panty liner is the best way to catch the little bit of pee that comes out. Instead of putting disposable, chemical-filled, sticky-wrapped-in-plastic pantyliners next to my most delicate area, I decided to go with organic cotton. I modeled the size and shape after a disposable liner that I liked the fit of. I was so determined to make these comfortable and sturdy, I went out and bought a serger sewing machine (on sale!) and got to work. Although my lines and curves are not all perfect, it is clear that these are hand made with love right here in my little house in Maine. I've given out many "prototypes" to friends and family and have gotten overwhelmingly positive feedback and support. Now I'm ready to share my "Twists" with the world!
