The Brass Pencil is inspired by vintage bullet pencil and it is one of those desktop tools that you want to keep on your side. Each pencil comes in two parts. The top part is a handle with an eraser and the bottom part is a refillable pencil (HB). When you are not using the pencil, you can insert the bottom part inside of the top part to save some space (see the 2nd and 3rd image). Very clever:) Your pocket or your bag will never be smeared by accidental artwork made by your (exposed) pencil! You can also get your pencil and eraser refill here. The solid brass handle ages well and will look beautiful as it gets used over time. Materials: Solid Brass exterior cap, steel, wood. You may notice a darkening or spots on the brass. This is not considered a defect but an organic characteristic that will develop a unique patina due to the natural aging process of brass.
