Undies for Everyone's mission is providing disadvantaged children with new underwear, recognizing the importance of a small basic need as part of a child’s increased chances for long term success. UFE serves children living in poverty or crisis in the following cities: Albuquerque, Atlanta, Austin, Cleveland, DC, Dallas, Ft. Worth, Houston, Miami, Milwaukee, Rio Grande Valley (Texas), Oklahoma City, San Antonio, St. Louis and Tulsa. Distribution partners are federally mandated school district homeless departments, Child Protective Services, children's hospitals mobile units and food bank children's programs. Each child receives 7 pairs of underwear, a week's share, recognizing impoverished families inability to secure new underwear. Nonprofits do not accept used underwear (happily!) and because underwear is expensive, agencies are unable to fill this important need left by donors' lack of awareness.
