WW2 German Kreigsmarine Brass Flare Gun Cartridge in Ammunition

A rare 1934 dated German Kriegsmarine Flare Gun brass cartridge P - Polte Magdeburg M - Marine ( above " Eagle" ) 34 - Date This German signal flare for the Leuchtpistole is rarer than the regular flares. Issued to the Kriegsmarine for use on ships and  U Boats. The cartridge when issued had a foil sticker placed over the primer, and you can still see the discoloration from this sticker on the casing.
